Our organic hot chocolate mix is ready to use for all your chocolate drinks! Made with organic cane sugar and alkalized cocoa powder.
10-12% refers to the fat content in the powder. Sometimes spelled simply 10/12 cocoa powder is referred to as "Low Fat" which is the most popular percentage.
That makes it the perfect ingredient for hot and cold drink recipes, such as hot chocolates, mokas, shakes, and more!
What is alkalized cocoa powder?
- Alkalized cocoa powder (7.3-7.8pH) is more neutral than natural cocoa powder (5-6.2pH) and is better suited to make drinks as it dissolves better in water.
- It is washed in alkaline solution of potassium carbonate. This wash neutralizes its acidity. So, dutch-process cocoa powder is neutral.
Simple hot chocolate recipe?
- Add 2 tablespoons (≈19g) to 3/4 cup (175ml) of boiling water and mix.
- Add milk or your favorite vegan drink to taste.
