What is Wheat Grass?

• Wheatgrass is the young grass of the wheat plant, "Triticum aestivum". It grows in temperate regions throughout Europe and the United States and can live indoors or outdoors.
• At this stage of growth, wheat has not yet developed gluten so wheatgrass is gluten-free.

What is the difference between Wheat Grass Powder & Wheat Grass Juice Powder?

• As much as their names are alike, they are very different products.
• Wheat Grass Powder is made by dehydrating wheat grass and grinding it into a powder. It contains all the nutrients of wheat grass and is full of fiber! It does not dissolve in water but will rather stay in suspension.
• Wheat Grass Juice Powder is made by pressing wheat grass until all the juice comes out. The juice is then dehydrated into a powder. It contains much less nutrients than wheat grass powder and typically has no fiber. It dissolves very well in water.

Simple Wheatgrass Juice Recipe:

• In a tall glass filled with equal parts water and apple juice add 1 tea spoon of organic wheat grass powder, mix and enjoy!
• The apple juice is used to cut out the grassy taste of the wheatgrass. You can just mix it with water if you don't mind the flavor or pineapple juice works well too.
