Our organic whole green Italian "Bella di Cerignola" olives are just enormous. Weighing in at about 9 grams each, this is just massive compared to the common grocery store Manzanilla olive which comes in at 3-4 grams.

Olives are very high in vitamin E and other powerful antioxidants. Studies show that they are good for the heart and may protect against osteoporosis and cancer.

The ample flesh is firm and juicy, while the flavor is noticeably mild and pleasant, with the olive’s large size making for a generous eating experience. Try gently frying in olive oil with a sprig of rosemary, a little lemon zest and whole garlic cloves, then allow them to cool a little before serving.

It is in our opinion the best table olive variety to be eaten unpitted and its enormous size makes a conversation topic in itself.

What are "Bella di Cerignola" Olives?

  • The Bella Di Cerignola cultivar originates from the region of Puglia in south-eastern Italy, where they are known as the "Barilotto" (barrel or Firkin). Their name is an homage to its hometown of Cerignola.

General Storage Tips:

• Protect from freezing.
• Keep refrigerated when opened.
• Store in the dark as light degrades flavors.
