Our organic beet root powder, is a bright pink or red product made from dried, ground beets. Beetroot powder can be mixed with water to create a juice. It can also be added to smoothies, sauces, or baked goods.

People are drawn to beetroot powder for nutritional reasons, and many people also enjoy the taste. Beets generally have an earthy, bitter flavor. Many people enjoy the flavor of beet juice on its own while some prefer to mix beet juice or beet powder with sweet or fresh flavors.

What is the difference between Beetroot and Beet juice powder?

  • As much as their names are alike, they are very different products.
  • Beet Root Powder is made by dehydrating beets and grinding them into a powder. It contains all the nutrients of beets and is full of fiber! It does not dissolve in water but will rather stay in suspension.
  • Beet Juice Powder is made by pressing beets until all the juice comes out. The juice is then dehydrated into a powder. It contains much less nutrients than beetroot powder and typically has no fiber. It dissolves very well in water.

General Storage Tips:

• Nothing beats vacuum sealing for freshness.
• Store below 15°C and < 65% humidity.
• Store in the dark as light degrades flavors.
• Mason jars make great storage containers.
• Can be frozen to prolong shelf life.
