Organic Black Turtle Beans
Our organic black turtle beans have high levels of flavonoids, particularly anthocyanin, which have antioxidant abilities. They also contain omega-3 fatty acid, which is considered a good form of cholesterol. Black beans are a great source of folic acid and have abnormally high levels of the rare compound molybdenum, which is very difficult to find in any other food.
They are very popular among vegetarians because when they are combined with brown rice, a complete protein meal is formed.
They are also versatile, cholesterol free, high in fiber (15 grams per cooked cup), rich in protein (15.24 grams per cooked cup) and low in fat (less than a gram a fat per cooked cup).
- Nothing beats vacuum sealing for freshness.
- Store below 15°C and < 65% humidity.
- Store in the dark as light degrades flavors.
- Mason jars make great storage containers.
- Can be frozen to prolong shelf life.

First time customer disappointment
Part of my order of 25 individual bags of black beans arrived vacuum hot sealed as they should, however 9 bags did not arrive vacuum packed. Given that I ordered from your company with longer-term storage needs in mind I am disappointed that I may have wasted my money
Item is great! They came well packed and cooked wonderfully. Highly recommend this item as well as this company.
