Our organic dry roasted soybeans are high in protein and a decent source of both carbs and fat. They are a rich source of various vitamins, minerals, and beneficial plant compounds, such as isoflavones. These dry roasted soybeans only contain one ingredient: Organic soybeans, no added oil or salt!
Homemade Organic Soy Butter (1 cup serving):
- Soak a ½ cup of organic dry roasted soybeans for 30 minutes.
- Transfer the soaked soybeans in a food processor.
- Add 2 tablespoons of organic canola or organic coconut oil.
- Add ⅛ teaspoon sea salt or more to taste.
- Add ¼ cup of water or more to adjust to your preferred texture.
- Add organic maple syrup to taste.
- Blend until smooth.
Storage Tips:
- Nothing beats vacuum sealing for freshness.
- Store below 15°C and < 65% humidity.
- Store in the dark as light degrades flavors.
- Mason jars make great storage containers.
- Can be frozen to prolong shelf life.
